This rum is first aged for 5 years in American oak casks at its place of origin in the Caribbean (Guyana and Barbados). Then it is shipped to Williams & Humberts installations in Jerez (Spain) where the rum is aged for another 3 years in casks that have previously held the internationally renowned Dos Cortados palo cortado sherry.This two-stage process produces old rum of unique characteristics with a matchless bouquet and flavor. It is exceptionally smooth.
