Plantation Guyana Single Cask Rum 2008 is fantastic and unique! A complex and interesting rum from Guyana that is over 10 years old & has been finished in chestnut & acacia casks. A very interesting flavor profile includes notes of cocoa, brown sugar, clove, & cinnamon followed by almond, vanilla, tobacco & richer citrus fruit. Highly Recommended
A complex nose that starts w/ bitter almond and vanilla and then evolves on to a more phenolic profile with leather, allspice, and gentian root. The palate is full & follows the nose with a spicier profile of cloves and cinnamon with balsamic notes. Thereafter it moves towards bacon, tobacco, and maple syrup.
